The selection process for the Tsofen Training Program is under way>>
On the heels of the successful partnership of recent years between the Career Development Center and the Tsofen Program, a course entitled “Android App Development” will open in July for Computer Sciences and Information Systems students. If you thought you’d spend the summer resting… think again!
*Thanks to the program, I gained a lot of diverse experience, and at the end I got a great letter of recommendation that helped me get hired for my current position. I recommend students to apply to gain experience, experience the practice in public administration, and make friends.
“The workshop meetings were interesting and helped me acquire knowledge. Every session was devoted to a different important topic, such as writing a resume, preparing for a job interview, using social media the right way to find a job, and more. It was a tremendous opportunity especially for us, as students from the Arab community who want to enter the workforce, especially high-tech companies.”
“The internship with the program provided me with the opportunity to express my opinion and assimilate into an organization that supports the ideas I believe in. It provided me with knowledge of new subjects and a platform for my abilities, contributed to my experience and character, and fleshed out my resume.”
“Thanks to help from my mentor and her counselor, I managed to acquire extenstive knowledge about subjects I’d never dealt with before, and consequently two different companies have already contacted me to express interest. The internship taught me so much and gave me tools and contacts that I really think will help me down the road.
