The Single-Scholarship Principle

Below are the University directors’ guidelines to ensure students benefit from no more than a single scholarship or source of financing:

Receiving an Excellence Scholarship or Prize:

“Any academic achievement that results in a scholarship or prize will be fully provided”: Therefore, every scholarship/prize for excellence is given in full to students.

Receiving Financial Aid Scholarship/Financing:

The total financial aid scholarship/financing provided to students is capped at 100% of the basic tuition cost.

Therefore, receipt of financial aid scholarship/financing totaling more than 100% of the basic tuition cost renders students ineligible for scholarship aid from the Office of the Dean of Students.

Receipt of financial aid scholarship/financing totaling less than 100% of the basic tuition cost renders students eligible for partial scholarship aid from the Office of the Dean of Students up to 100% of the basic tuition cost.

Specifically designated scholarships for volunteering or to cover the cost of travel: will be provided in full regardless of excellence scholarship/s and/or other aid to which students are eligible.
