Foundations providing loans on behalf of the University

The foundation’s purpose: To help students in a standard academic year towards their degree; students need to have completed military or national service and be able to demonstrate need for the loan.
Preference is given to students of Iranian heritage (born in Iran or one parent born in Iran).

Loan amount: $2,000- 5,000$ in NIS.

Terms: Interest-free and not linked to the cost of living index.

Loan repayment: In 10 equal instalments. Full repayment: one semester after expected graduation from the University. In case of withdrawal from studies, full repayment is required immediately.
Loan recipients will have to deposit post-dated checks at the University treasurer’s office and sign a promissory note together with a guarantor.

How to submit a loan application: The loan application is submitted via the Scholarship Department.

When to submit a loan application:
1. From the beginning of the academic year until December 15.
2. From December 16 until February 15.
3. From February 16 until May 1.

 

 

The foundation’s purpose: To provide help to students with high academic achievement needing financial assistance.

Loan amount: $2,000 to $5,000 in NIS

Terms: Interest-free and not linked to the cost of living index.

Loan repayment: The loan must be repaid six months from the expected date of graduation from the University.

Loans of up to $2,000 are repaid in 10 equal instalments; loans of more than $2,000 are repaid in 12 to 24 instalments.

In case of withdrawal from studies, full repayment is required immediately.

Loan recipients will have to deposit post-dated checks at the University treasurer’s office and sign a letter of commitment and a promissory note.
