The Katzir Scholarship Program
The foundation helps students with tuition scholarship of up to NIS 10,000 and provides academic help to undergraduate students.
Target population:
- Single mothers up to the age of 43 registered in an undergraduate program having no previous academic degree
- Graduates of youth villages and boarding schools
- Discharged female soldiers without family support
- Members of the Ethiopian community
- Graduates of the AcadeMe Program in high school
Candidates must have completed military or national service.
Students are required to do a significant amount of community volunteering (120 hours a year) and show an awareness of the needs of Israeli society. Some program members will be selected to participate in a seminar and workshops of the Social Leadership Program.
