The student dorms are set up to provide housing for researchers and/or students from abroad. It is possible to make long-term reservations of regular dorm rooms/apartments for living with Israeli students and also short-term reservations in the guest apartments.

Being a Guest in a Regular Apartment

A university unit and/or research institute wanting to make a reservation in the dorms for a guest from abroad for the coming academic year are asked to submit its request by June 30.
Requests submitted after this date will be handled on the basis of availability.

The application form (including the unit/research budget director’s signature and stamp) should be filled out and emailed to Dana Kramer, Registration Coordinator at damar@univ.haifa.ac.il.

In addition to the application form, the following documents must be attached, or the request cannot be processed:

Guest’s health declaration signed by a physician
Rental contract signed by the guest

Any guest staying in the dorms for more than a month must also arrange health insurance with Harel Yedidim Ltd.:

Guest Apartments

A university unit and/or research institute wanting to make a short-term reservation in the dorms for a guest from abroad and/or from Israel should submit its request for a reservation in a guest apartment.

The application form (including the unit/research budget director’s signature and stamp) should be filled out and emailed to Dalit Oster, Collections and Guest Apartment Coordinator at doster@univ.haifa.ac.il.

Without a signed application, the request cannot be processed.
