Initiative set up by our students seeking to address the large elderly community in Haifa, which feels lonely, especially during the Coronavirus era. The project gathers groups of volunteers who accompany the elderly (by telephone) to alleviate loneliness. The project is operated in collaboration with the Haifa Municipality. As part of the scholarship, students coordinate groups of volunteers and establish telephone contact with senior citizens. In addition, there is participation in tutorials and seminars. Hours are flexible and suitable for the framework of students and volunteers.
